The Foundation stone of Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital was laid in October 1961 and was commissioned by the then Prime Minister late Pandit Jawaharlal .The G.B. Pant Hospital established in 1964 is a prestigious institution in the country as well as in the whole of Asia. This hospital is a tertiary care referral center .
