The idea for opening of ARTS COLLEGE at Saiha town for the whole Chhimtuipui District was started since 1974.The first meeting was held in the month of June .Government Saiha College is the only college in Saiha district of Mizoram, northeast India. It is the first college in southern Mizoram. It was established in 1978 .
