To guide the students in honing their strength and overcome their weaknesses thus leading to their cultural and spiritual growth and instilling our national.
The institution has its unique history. The Necessity of this institution was felt on account of dearth of education for the refugee girls from West Pakistan. Hence, Shri 108 Sant Baba Mohan Singh Ji, the founder President was kind enough to provide the accommodation and the institution was started in the year 1948 as a primary school. The primary school progressed by leaps and bounds under the management of Sardar Jaimal Singhji Advocate. During his tenure, the School was given recognition up to Junior High School in 1954. In 1959 Sardar Jagjeet Singhji, Chief Engineer H.B.T.I. succeeded him as Manager of Higher Secondary School. During has period, the college was given recognition up to Intermediate in 1960, Sardar I.S. Bhattyji was entrusted with the management work of the college in the year 1964. During his period the college was extended up to degree classes. The institution made further progress during the management of Sardar Pritam Singhji Saluja from 1965 to 1974. The college made further progress under the management of Shri Jagadish Lal Arora from 1974 to 1995. Sardar Joginder Singhji was the Secretary of college from 1995 to 2003. With his untiring efforts college got permanent affiliation for M.A. Hindi and Home Science. Under self-finance scheme of the state government B.Com., M.A. Drawing & Painting and Sociology classes are being run. The college had made remarkable progress under the able guidance of Shree Jagdish Lal Arora who resumed his charge as secretary of college in 2003. At present the college is being run under the guidance of the Vidwak society. Affiliated to, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University.
The efforts of the past Principals cannot be undetermined for their contributions towards the development of the college. Mrs. Raj Chaudhary joined as Principal in the year 1952, when there was 1st batch of class Vlll having 20 students only. Dr. (Mrs.) B. Gujral took over the charge in the year 1980 after the retirement of Mrs. Raj Chaudhary. Dr.(Mrs.) B. Gujral by her ceaseless and untiring efforts extended Degree College to Post Graduate College in the year 1995. Thereafter Mrs. Urmil Lal, Mrs Vijay Mehra and Mrs Vijay Nagpal made further contributions to take the college to its present position. During her time from 2008-2010 Mrs Manju Mishra work actively and enthusiastically to improve the infrastructure and academic cultural status of the college. Following the footsteps of her predecessors the present Principal Mrs Sandhya Mishra is leading her team members with a vision to take the institution to heights per excellence.
On the basis of excellent results and remarkable discipline, College was awarded a merit grant of Rs. 5,000/- in the year 1968 by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
With Great sorrow it is to be informed that the founder President Shri 108 Sant Baba Mohan Singh Ji left for heavenly abode on March 27, 2003 but his blessing will always be with the college staff. Guru Nanak Girls Degree (PG) College
